Our midshore tuna trips are the most popular choice among our customers. Our primary target is tuna. Depending on the time of year it could be yellowfin or bleufin tuna. Sharks aswell as other bottom fish on offshore wrecks are also a common occurance. We typicall leave around 3am and retrun anywhere from 12pm-4pm. We can be flexabile with the time on these trips. On this trip, we will target Black Seabass, Codfish, Porgy, Triggerfish, and Blackfish. This is our favorite trip because you never know what you're going to reel up. We provide all the bait and tackle.
Bottom fishing for Tautog/Blackfish 6:30-2:30 - boat us equipped with spot lock for quick anchoring - all bait and fishing rods/tackle are included - optional to bring your own gear
Fluke, Black Sea Bass, Tautog (Blackfish), Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonita 7 to 8 hours - Inshore trips depart at 530am and will target one of the above species. All bait (gulp not included), tackle, and ice is included. *Flexible departure times. Up to 6 passengers, no exceptions.

Cod are prized for firm, white fillets and steady fights. Belmar sits on the Jersey Shore, with fast access to the Atlantic. Local captains target Cod on deep wrecks, ledges, and rock piles offshore. Cool water and rich structure make this a reliable Cod draw.
Most trips use bottom fishing to reach Cod holding tight to structure. Anglers drop bait like clams or squid on simple rigs. Jigging also works when fish are active. Jigging means lifting and dropping a metal lure to trigger strikes.
Expect an early start and a ride offshore to deep grounds. Boats carry sturdy rods, heavy sinkers, and fresh bait. Captains handle the anchor and drift to stay over structure. This trip suits beginners and seasoned anglers who like steady action. Wear warm layers, non-skid shoes, and bring sun protection. A small cooler and zip bags help you take fillets home. Many crews can clean your catch at the dock.
