Jacksonville Gag Grouper Fishing Charters

4-hour trips are based on one tide phase if we fish inshore targeting multiple species based on season. If we are going offshore, it will allow us to troll for kingfish, cobia, sailfish, etc., or bottom-fish nearby reefs/wrecks for red snapper, grouper, black sea bass, vermillion snapper, etc. This is a very flexible trip!

Depending on your personal preferences and the weather, you can choose between fishing nearshore or heading offshore. Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Triggerfish, Seabass, Mutton snapper and now (American Red Snapper from May 22 to June 20 and again for 6 days in October to be determined) will all be among your targeted species. Kids are welcome!

Add a few more hours to your time on the water and check the bite inshore, nearshore, and a bit further out. You will be trolling or bottom fishing, depending on which species you'd like to take off your personal bucket list. The list of your targets includes Redfish, Sheepshead, Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, and more.

Can head up to 50 miles out, bottom fishing the ledges and wrecks or slow trolling live bait for Kingfish, Cobia, Amberjack and Sailfish. Times will vary depending on your availability, wants and needs. Great trip to try out some new techniques.

This guided adventure is perfect for vacationers and first-time anglers looking to reel in delicious bottom species in comfortable offshore waters. Safety is our top priority—our 31' TE Fountain is U.S. Coast Guard compliant and fully equipped with advanced safety gear. Life vests are provided for all guests. Relax with a private porcelain toilet in the cuddy cabin and enjoy a fun, memorable day on the water!

Up to 15 miles offshore or the entire trip can be inshore. Dependingon the time of year you can expect to catch fish ranging from inshore Tarpon, redfish, black drum, trout whiting, sheepshead and offshore fish being kingfish, snappers, groupers, blackseabass, AJs, porgies, triggers, and othwr pelagic species.

I operate a small fishing charter dedicated to helping beginners have an awesome first experience on the water. I keep my prices affordable while making sure every trip is fun, relaxed, and focused on catching fish. My goal is simple: give you the best experience possible without the high charter prices. Stay closer and fishing closer wrecks around 10 miles out pulling on big snapper and whatever we can get to bite on the bottom.

All prices cover six anglers. There are no additional costs. Prices are for the boat, not person! When considering a charter, consider the size of the boat. 10 -11 hr trips / weather permitting we will run 35-60 miles targeting larger Red Snapper/ during the May22 -June30th season, and offshore to mutton Snapper / grouper fish .
