If the offshore fishing is slow, we can switch up, targeting Snapper, Barracuda, Grouper and Mackerel on the shallow patch reefs. Most crews target Blue Marlin by offshore trolling. They pull skirted lures and teasers to raise fish, then pitch-bait with a rigged Ballyhoo or live bait. This mix keeps lines in the water and lets you react fast when a fish appears.
Trips are usually full-day runs to deep sea grounds within a short ride of the islands. Expect heavy tackle, a fighting chair, or a stand-up harness, which spreads the load across your body. Crews handle the gear and coach you through the fight. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, snacks, and motion-sickness meds. Many captains practice catch and release for Billfish.
The Bahamas offers broad hotspots across the country. Abaco, Bimini, and Grand Bahama sit near sharp ledges and strong Gulf Stream edges. Eleuthera and the Exumas frame the deep Exuma Sound. Great people. Wifes first trip to the Bahamas and first time offshore fishing. We went out looking for a Blue Marlin which is an extremely difficult thing to do in one day worth of fishing. Captain Tyler and Jojo provided lunch and plenty of beverages. They were great people to spend the day with. We caught a few mahi mahi for the dinner table and even tried a little bottom fishing before heading in. Good time and good people!

A Wonderfully Blessed Day
Water a little choppy, partly cloudy; there were 4 in my party counting my niece and nephew. Captain Teddy put us on fish throughout trip as we caught 1 small yellowfin, 9 skipjack tunas on 11 hook ups, then an old angler dream catching a blue marlin, approximately 130 lbs. to end the trip. The captain was great at providing guidance and constantly chasing down the billfish on the numerous runs. This was catch and release so not great pitcher on marlin.

full Day Trip with Capt. Mike
Captain Mike was nothing but serious when we hit the water. with in 30 minutes we had our first fish on, and 10 minutes later he put us on about a 275 pound Blue Marlin that took 90 minutes to land. Capt. Mike and 1st mate (Kiris) coached me thru the entire catch to make it possible. this trip was for my 60th Birthday and I had told Capt. Mike I would really like to catch a Marlin, and he made it happen!! Thank you Capt. and crew for making an old mans dream come true. Tight Lines.

3/4 day fishing trip
Was a wonderful day. Great guide. Caught multiple fish and topped the day with a Blue Marlin. Even had Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville restaurant cook up our tuna. Thanks guys for a memorable day.
