Nags Head Blue Marlin Fishing Charters

Head out to the productive Gulf Stream on this 8-hour adventure! You'll typically be fishing up to 30 miles offshore, so make sure your sea legs are strong. You'll be targeting Tilefish, Seabass, Grouper, Amberjack, Shark, King Mackerel, and trolling species such as Sailfish and Mahi Mahi. Custom fishing gear will be provided for you, as well as a fishing license for your group, so just bring snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Are you ready for the ultimate offshore trip? Rise and shine and meet up with Capt. Gregg with the first light and head out to the best fishing grounds in the area, some 35 miles away from the shore. It will take about 90 minutes to get to the spot, and then you can target majestic Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, as well as Wahoo and Mahi Mahi. Pack a supply of food and drinks, and get ready to reel as if your life depended on it!

Offshore fishing is our specialty, and this 10 trip will be targeting tuna, wahoo, mahi, marlin and sailfish, depending on the conditions. We will primarily be trolling, and with our Kongsburg SY50 Omnidirectional SONAR and full complement of Raymarine electronics, we can locate and keep you on the fish. We will sometimes use a Greenstick or Kite, or we may bottom fish to try and get some fish in the box. An additional fuel surcharge may apply.

Leaving the docks at 4:30AM, returning at 3:30 PM with 11 hours of offshore fishing targeting Tuna, Tilefish, Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish. If you're looking for that trophy fish, this is the trip for you.

On full-day trips, we head out of Oregon Inlet, traveling 40–50 miles to the Gulfstream. From May to late September, target mahi, wahoo, black/yellowfin/bigeye tuna, white marlin, sailfish, and the legendary blue marlin. Trips may run slightly longer than 12 hours. All tackle is provided, and we don't leave until the box is full and our customers are smiling. Get ready for an unforgettable OBX fishing adventure!
