Erie Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

You'll target Walleye, Steelhead, and Lake Trout. Please note, the Lake Trout fishing window is April and May. You can expect to head out anywhere from 100 yards to 10 miles, which can be from 5 minutes to 45 minutes till your lines are in the water. Tips for the first mate are not included in the price, and are an average of 15-25% of the trip price. Cleaning and fishing equipment are all included.

Fish for six hours starting at 6:00 a.m. Return to dock at noon

Enjoy 7 fun hours of fishing beautiful Lake Erie. This trip is for a maximum of 2 guests. Captain Matthew will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, as well as catch cleaning. You will fish Yellow Perch, Trout, and Walleye.

A morning Walleye trip for up to 6 people. The trip will either last for 7 hours or until you catch your limit of Walleye. You and the crew will leave the dock at 5:30 a.m. The crew provides all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, as well as fish cleaning and filleting.

*Must have your own waders to walk the creeks. We will be targeting various tributaries that run into Lake Erie for beautiful Steelhead. These fish can be challenging at times, but will give you the fight of a lifetime! These trips are very dependent on creek conditions. You will learn how to drift fish using your choice of spinning or fly. This trip is seasonal. Capt. Kevin will share his years of knowledge on how to catch these amazing fish. Can guide up to 2 people.

Catch Walleye and Steelhead in the Deep Blue. We will travel north to the deep, cold water to specifically target Steelhead and also catch a load of big Walleye at the same time or once the limit is caught. Trip time is run from dock to dock. You will need a PA Trout stamp for this trip.

This is our most popular trip. We run offshore to catch limits of walleye from June through October, then transition to targeting steelhead and phenomenal lake trout in skinny water. Our season begins in April, either chasing steelhead or running east down the lake to pursue huge lake trout in a well-known structural area called the Mountain.
