You'll go after Coho and Chinook Salmon! Luckily, you don't have to go too far offshore to reach them, only 5 miles will do the trick. You could be trolling or bottom fishing. The captain uses fresh anchovies as bait. They will be prepared before the trip and included in the price.

March - July Spring Salmon are consistently known for their exceptional quality, flavor, and nutritional value. This time of year is an exciting occasion for locals and visitors to pursue these celebrated fish in our home waters of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. March through summer I offer trips out of the Portland Metro area.

Drift Boats trips near Tillamook, Oregon targeting Chinook, Coho Salmon and even Chum Salmon. These are very unique fall trips. We will be fishing thr coastal rivers of Nothern Oregon. Methods used are casting with bobbers,casting spinners, twiching, or running plugs.

Full day trips last between 6 to 8hrs on the water

Shad fishing is a fun and exciting. We will anchor in the river and put out a number of rods to catch these scrappy fighters. Shad are edible and some of our clients really enjoy them. Pretty much everything else in the food chain likes them as well. They make excellent bait for our other trips, Sturgeon, Halibut, Ling Cod and Dungeness crab. You can keep your catch if you choose.

This will be a 7-hour trip on the water. All gear needed for fishing will be provided (Safety equipment, rods, bait, tackle, expertise & education). Guests are required to purchase all necessary fishing licenses/tags before arrival (Guide will give further instructions upon booking). 1. Day or Annual angling license 2. Annual angling tag (only needed if purchasing your annual angling license; tag is included with your daily license purchase. 3. Columbia River Basin Endorsement (either day or annual).
