Our most popular trip and the perfect balance of travel time and fishing time. The 8-hour trip allows us to fish multiple offshore spots and target a wider variety of species. We typically troll while running offshore, then spend the majority of the trip bottom fishing productive reefs and structure. Live bait may also be used when available to target larger fish.

NO FISH, NO PAY Catches include Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi etc. The boat leaves at 2 AM to arrive at the best offshore fishing grounds at 6 AM, and is back at the docks before sundown roughly at 6-6:30 PM. These trips are weather permitting. If the seas are too much to go that far, you can switch to an all-day local trip and the price difference would be adjusted.

With this package, you can head 35 miles out to target good numbers of pelagic species like Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. The bottom fishing with this package is also good, catching deep-water Snappers and Groupers like the super-tasty Scamp Grouper.

Start your day with some fishing action and have a day of your life. You can target all kinds of species, depending on what's in season and how far off the coast you go. The captain will prepare your fishing equipment and licenses, don't forget to tip. Keep in mind that children have to be 10 or older to be allowed on the boat.

If this is your first time on the Gulf of Mexico this might be your trip! We usually don't travel too far from shore, maybe 2-3 miles, trolling along the way for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Bonito...or whatever else you snag! There's always the option to bottom fish where you can hook amberjack, grouper, vermilion snapper, and many others! It's a great time but depending on time of year, you may be limited on what you can keep due to size or season.

We will depart the dock at 6am and bottom fish. This is deep sea fishing. We will travel about an hour and a half to two hours to our bottom fishing locations. We typically fish 6-8 people at a time depending on the seas, the current, and the fish we are targeting We typically catch Spanish Mackerel, Vermillion Snapper, Triggerfish, Black Snapper, White Snapper, Bonita, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper and sometimes Wahoo. We will target what is in season.

Heading out to what locals call 'The Spur', the Desoto Canyon is home to 8 FADS (Fish attracting Devices). In addition to the underground Desoto Canyon, these man-made structures are located 70-85 miles offshore in 1500 - 2200 feet of water are a playground for Tuna, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. Trolling, live baiting, jigging, and topwater action for Pelagics. No reef or bottom fishing. This is the trip for a trophy fish of a Lifetime.

Let's get after it! The 8 hours allows us to go even further targeting the larger fish and has the option to troll during our transit out for pelagic fish such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna.

Fish the near shore waters for Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper and Cobia. Trip is dependent on weather conditions, if too choppy for nearshore then you may change to inshore trip or upgrade to the 35’ contender.
