Hatteras Blackfin Tuna Fishing Charters

Seas The Day NC specializes in active fishing, using artificial baits, casting gear and very little trolling. If you are an experienced angler and want to learn some new techniques or put your skills to the test this is the trip for you! We take a unique approach using custom/prototype tackle specifically designed to allow the angler to create specific presentations. Our Clients range from absolute beginners to professional Bass fisherman and if you're in to fly fishing bring your fly gear!

This trip will take you fishing offshore in the Gulf Stream for a variety of species that are in season and biting. Those can include Billfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Kingfish, and other species. All bait and tackle is included. Food and drinks are not included in the price.

Full day offshore trips leave as the sun comes up and gets you back to the dock by 5pm. Offshore trips target Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna and most anything else that swims in the Gulf Stream.

This is a Gulfstream offshore trip in the fish-rich waters of Hatteras targeting Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, and anything else that might want to bite the lines. No spray sunscreen is allowed on board. This trip will be 10-12 hours long or shorter if you would like to return to the dock earlier. Pack your lunch and planty of water and join use for the offshore trip of a lifetime!

This 11-hour adventure is reserved for hard-core anglers! You start very early in the morning and head out offshore. This is the best chance to target Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and many other big game species. Your fishing equipment is fully covered.

A full day trip allows you to go further and explore more fishing spots, catch more fish, or target a renowned trophy! If the season is right, you'll go after Blackfin Tuna, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish, or, if you prefer delicious bottom-dwellers, you can chase Seabass, Amberjack, Snapper, Triggerfish, and more. Trolling for Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna, and/or bottom fishing for Seabass, Snapper, and Triggerfish on natural hard bottom reefs. You might also do jigging or live bait fishing on shipwrecks, depending on the conditions which vary daily on account of the strong Gulf Stream current. Avid anglers with gear are advised to consult the captain as to what works best here. Bottom fishing is limited by regulations and strong current.

Join us for a full day in the Gulf Stream. We fish for a variety of species depending on the time of year. The Spring offers Tunas, Gaffer Dolphins and Wahoo. More Bailer Dolphin in the summer months and always a chance for Billfish. Back to Tunas, Wahoo, Dolphin and Sailfish in the fall. We have the ability to catch whatever is available any time of year.
