Dauphin Island Wahoo Fishing Charters

Set out on a 10-hour deep-water adventure targeting Grouper, Scamp, and other bottom dwellers, with high-speed trolling when conditions allow. Expect a variety of catches including Snapper, Triggerfish, Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Cobia, and Amberjack!

This is where more serious anglers come to put fish in the boat. Our 12 hour trip puts us on the water to make the best use time. We will be targeting multiple Snapper species, Amberjack, Trigger Fish, Wahoo, Cobia, Mahi, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Grouper, Scamp

Our 18-hour overnight trip is a raw, unforgettable offshore adventure that puts you out on the Gulf for one full night. We head offshore around midday, watch the sun drop behind us, and fish through the night jigging for tuna around the oil rigs. As dawn breaks, catch the morning bite before transitioning into daytime trolling, with the option to bottom fish on the ride back in. This trip is flexible by design and can be shaped around how your group wants to fish, eat, rest and experience offshore life.

With this trip, you and the crew will be trolling on your way out and back in. The rest of the time you'll be bottom fishing for all kinds of reef fish. The fish you'll be targeting is Snapper, Trigger, Mackerel, Wahoo, Amberjack, and whatever else may be lurking around the private reefs. Wahoodat Charters looks forward to seeing you soon!

This half day trip offers good fishing action. You'll be targeting a large variety of reef fish such as Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, and White Snapper. (Seasonal closures may impact which reef fish you may actually get to keep). We will also troll to the different reefs we have at our disposal giving you the opportunity to possibly hook, fight, and land a giant Wahoo! The average boat speed on this trip is 10 to 12 kts. This all-day trip is perfect for the avid angler. Along with chasing huge Red Snapper, you and the crew will also target various Grouper species and Vermilion Snapper as well as troll for Wahoo.

This is the trip you want. You will catch live bait then run to offshore floating oil rigs. You then live baiting for yellowfin tuna around the oil rigs in 2000 to 5000' of water. This will from 80 to 120 miles offshore. The trip includes 200 gallons of fuel. There will be a fuel charge for addition fuel used.
