Here in the beautiful waters of Hilton Head surrounding creeks, and, nearshore reefs, you can expect to see Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder, Cobia, Tarpon, Spanish Mackerel, and Shark on your charter. All guided fishing charter rates include everything you need: fishing licenses, fishing gear, bait, tackle, a cooler, and ice.

With over ten years of dedicated experience in the surrounding waters of the Low Country, the world of inshore fishing has become his expertise! Captain Rodney Summers' experiences with teaching and coaching throughout his life have translated into a passion for instructing out at sea. Originally from South Carolina, he began building his love for nature with routine fishing, hunting, and being in the great outdoors. He attended Coastal Carolina University, and was a teacher, and coach for 32 years. In 2016 he moved to Bluffton for the opening of a High School as both a teacher and a Head Football Coach making his new home in the Lowcountry. In 2021 he started integrating his experience into a classroom without walls! Join Captain Rodney today where his goal is to give you a new favorite memory out on the water.

Big catches for our 9 year old

We had an amazing 3-hour trip with Captain Rodney. The boat was spotless and comfortable for me, my husband and my 9 year old son. We visited 4 fishing locations and had some great catches including redfish, spotted sea trout, a couple sting rays, and, much to our surprise and my son’s sheer delight, a pretty large (bull?) shark! Captain Rodney was a joy - sharing his knowledge about the fish, techniques and the surrounding area and was incredibly supportive in helping us all to bait and remove...

Captain Rodney was great to fish with! He had us on fish right from the start. We had a great day on the water. We caught shark, flounder, and even a stingray! The boat was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our 3-hour trip. Most importantly, we had a great time and made some awesome memories celebrating a birthday on the water. Thanks again, Captain Rodney, for a great trip!
