Captain Porter did a phenomenal job getting us out on the water and getting us a full cooler despite tougher conditions. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. He was able to describe exactly how to fish the area and the results speak for themselves. We caught multiple spotted/speckled sea trout with one even being over slot, caught weakfish, caught sand trout, caught multiple black drum with one being around 40”, caught two redfish (18” and 27”). We had a great time fishing with Captain Jayson out of Cedar Key! He was very knowledgeable and made everything easy for us. Captain Jayson was especially great with the kids—he helped my nephew with his casting and was super patient. Even though we got caught in the rain, we still caught fish and had a lot of fun.
