5-Hour Trip (Offshore) • 5 adultsA wonderful family fishing trip with our adult children that truly exceeded our expectations! We recently went fishing with our adult kids, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The day was filled with laughter, plenty of bites (including loads of solid catches), and quality time that felt genuinely special. Captains John & Nick made it smooth and enjoyable—everyone stayed engaged and had a great time, while we parents especially appreciated how relaxed and well-organized it felt. It was successful, fun, and left us already talking about when we can go again. Highly recommend for any family looking for a memorable outdoor adventure!

5-Hour Trip (Offshore) - 12:30 PM • 2 adultsOur trip out with Capt John & 1st Mate Nick was the greatest! Upon meeting them, it was like we had known them a lifetime. They were so attentive in making sure all our needs were met & explained everything down to the smallest detail like how the baitfish we were catching were attracted to movement. If you are looking for the BEST fishing trip & catching plenty of fish, we highly recommend these guys when in Fort Walton. We most definitely will be going out with a Slice Of Life any chance we get!!

6 Hour Trip (Offshore) • 3 adults • 1 childLike the title says, dont waist your time! Unless you enjoy catching fish all day amd hangout out with some genuine guys? Captain John and Captain Nick just spent the whole time trying to help us catch fish. Teaching the 10 year old (and the 35 year olds) how to fish. Boat was well kept, quickly glided over the water, bathroom was a life saver. They provided live bait, as well as taught us how to get our own. We even got lucky and got our targeted species. After we took all of those fillets they cut for us back home, the kid got a well-deserved “Chef Captain John inspired recipe “fresh -self caught- mahi Tacos! We absolutely had a blast. We will be going out with them again.

8 Hour Trip (Offshore) • 5 adultsIf you’re looking for a great day on the water, look no further. Captain John and Captain Nick did an outstanding job during our 8-hour fishing trip. We had a group of five and stayed on fish all day, bringing in an impressive catch. These guys truly know their craft and work hard to make sure everyone has a successful and enjoyable experience. What really stood out was how well they balanced professionalism, safety, and fun. Even with some larger waves during the trip, the boat handled the conditions exceptionally well, and the crew remained calm, confident, and safety-conscious throughout the day. Their knowledge of the local waters, fishing techniques, and ability to put us on fish was second to none. They were patient, helpful, and made sure everyone in our group had a great time, regardless of experience level. The equipment was top-notch, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the entire trip exceeded our expectations. We had such a great experience that we already booked a second trip before we even got back to the dock. If you’re considering a charter, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend Captain John and Captain Nick for an unforgettable fishing adventure!

4 Hour Trip (Offshore) • 4 adults • 1 childOur family of four had an amazing offshore fishing trip with A Slice of Life! Captain John and First Mate Nick were friendly, patient, and great at teaching us how to use the equipment. They were wonderful with our kids and helped make our son’s 11th birthday extra special. They cleaned our catch and recommended a great place to have it cooked. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend them!
