Captain John Brantley has been guiding customers on exciting fishing trips for the past 35 years. He's done it all aboard his boat, 'Fired Up.' They've been fishing together for 3 decades now and he knows every trick there is to her. He loves fishing and loves boats and he loves sharing his passion with guests on board! Capt. John's preferred technique is trolling, perfectly suited to the Mackerel fishery off the coast of North Carolina.

    Had a blast!!!

    Half Day Trip (AM) • 5 adults • 2 children

    We caught 27 Spanish mackerel during our charter. The ship mate was very knowledgeable and engaged with the kids. They had a blast during the experience. When we were done and they were preparing our catch, we got to see two sea turtles and feed them. Highly recommend, especially if first time out or its a family trip! Thanks again!

    Awesome Trip!

    Captain John was great to deal with and kept us on the fish. He offers a wealth of knowledge and has very nice boat to fish on. First mate Butch was extremely helpful and made sure the lines stayed in the water. We will definitely be back on board next time we are down.

    We didn't catch as many Fish as the folks the Day before, but we had a Blast, catching a few Fun Fish. And a wonderful relaxing time Trolling and Chatting with the Mate. Great Kind Crew and Caorain. My kids had a relaxing Blast. Craig
