He's been a USCG captain since 2015, but he started fishing much earlier and his passion only grew over time. Not only does Capt. Doug know how to put you on the fish, but he's also very pleasant and every trip with him is a joy you'll want to repeat.

4 Hour–River Adventure/Inshore (PM) • 4 adultsCaptain Doug is very knowledgeable about the waters of the Rappahannock, Carrotomen, and Chesapeake Bay. We visited all three on our trip. Unfortunately, the fish just were not biting on this day. We enjoyed Doug’s banter and beautiful day on the river.

Full Day Trip • 4 adultsI’ve did some great charter fishing in Mexico, Costa Rica & various places in the US. Captain Doug Goodman is without a doubt the best fishing guide we’ve had the pleasure of working with. He had a great plan to satisfy our wishes. We wanted something we could cook at our VRBO while here on vacation. He is very vocal and informative about what we’re doing & need to do and has extensive knowledge of the areas where he took us fishing. We were able to catch some good eating fish everywhere we went, see some great sights with a man that treated us like family. He was very knowledgeable about the ocean & its history. He even provided some good fish recipes. When we all got home we couldn’t stop talking about our experience. He is a true gem. Thank you for your time Doug. I’ll definitely keep you in my contacts for future visits. Cheers!
