Wanted to take my family on their first Louisiana marsh trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than a trip to Venice with Southern Addiction Outfitters. Michael had a well maintained boat, great boat handling skills and quality fishing gear. I wanted to chase a quantity of fish so the kids could stay busy. 2-3 hook up at a time staying in schools of 15”-17” rat reds while picking up some slots sure made for a fun day. Captain Michael was great.  He put us on the fish first thing both mornings we fished with him.  We caught two limits of snapper and rounded out both days by catching some slot redfish also.  Mike was very professional and I would highly recommend him.  We will be fishing with him again next year.

We had an incredible redfishing trip, the action was nonstop from start to finish. Captain Mike put us right on the fish, and we caught our limits early. The rest of the day was spent catching and releasing some beautiful bull reds that gave us an unforgettable fight. To top it all off, we landed two nice triple tail, which was the cherry on top of a perfect trip.
