Fishing has always been my passion, starting at the very young age of 8. Growing up in Barbados surfing, sailing, fishing and spearfishing, one would truly conclude that I am a true 'waterman'. From the cliffs of Barbados to my first boat, to 150ft under the ocean spearfishing, to recently my new and modern 41ft Luhrs Sportfisherman, I am forever evolving. On my charters, my guests come first and I ensure they always have fun and an enjoyable experience, whether we are swimming with the Turtles, enjoying the beautiful coastline or reeling in 'Another Big One'. As a proud Barbadian, it comes naturally to me to express my love and appreciation of my island. By the end of your day with me on 'Wicked Wahoo' I hope that my guest would come to appreciate the wonderful and exciting sport of Big Game Fishing.

6 Hour Trip – Fishing • 2 adultsI’ve been on a few charters across the seas and I can absolutely say this charter has been the best out of them all. Geoff and Ben are masters at their craft. While others on the island caught no fish…we filled our boat. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend these guys. Thanks again Geoff and Ben…best day out on the sea ever!!! 4 Hour Trip – Fishing - 1:00 PM • 6 adultsCaptain Geoff and Ben were very knowledgeable, not only about fishish but everything else on the island too. Including restaurants, hotels etc. The boat is well equipped with lots of room. Full bar is handy too! We caught 5 Wahoo, most on the bigger side! Highly recomended!

4 Hour Trip – Fishing • 6 adultsWe enjoyed our 4 hour trip the captain and crew worked hard to find the fish. We were lucky enough to catch a wahoo and two baracuda with on lost at the gaff.

Fish On !!!!!

Jose and his boys, Ben 7 and Everett 5, were welcomed aboard at 8 am sharp and after our short briefing and tour of the vessel we were off. The request was "we want to catch real fish, not just little ones". Conditions were awesome so as usual, lines were going out within 5 minutes after we left the beautiful Port Ferdinand Marina.
As soon as the first line was in and set BAM !!! FISH ON!!! Ben was right on it, with a bit of coaching from his dad he successfully landed 3 small Tuna all at once. That's the best Bait. No sooner had we set the 4 rods out, a Mahi Mahi was on. Dad took care of that and then about 20 mins later a barracuda was hooked. This time we got 5 year old Everett the "Barracuda Slayer" in the fighting chair. With his little legs hanging and arms just barely able to reach the front of the rod it was all adrenalin now. By the time he landed it, with some great coaching and a little of Joe's muscle, there was another Mahi Mahi on.
What an exciting day. Memories for life!
By the end of our trip on "Wicked Wahoo", we had 2 Mahi Mahi, 4 Tuna and 2 Barracuda, and two brand new fishermen for life!!! Thanks for the memories guys you were all Great!!

Family Fun

On leaving the marina the wind was calm and sea conditions were perfect for a great day of fishing, so I decided to head around the northern tip of the island, which can at this time of the year be a bit rough. Fishing around the point is always good so we decided to go for it due to the favourable conditions.
We were using balihoo as bait, with 1 downrigged at 70 ft and 1 just below the surface and 2 on the outriggers. I had noticed that the fish that week had been biting a lot more on the top lines so one of my lower lines was not set as deep as usual.
Fish were on within the first hour, landing a double header from both outriggers and about half hour later a third Mahi Mahi on the lower rod set at 10 feet below the surface. Everyone had a chance to land their own fish, Mrs Spangler (fishing for her first time) landing the biggest Dolphin 30 lbs. What a great job.
After 3 hrs and feeling like everyone had accomplished their tasks they decided to take the last hour to relax and have a most rewarding swim on the tranquil west coast. Who could ask for more?
