After spending the last seven years fishing the legendary waters of Cabo San Lucas, I’ve learned that an unforgettable fishing trip is about much more than just catching fish—it’s about the people you’re on the boat with.
That’s why I took my time finding the perfect crew. Our captain and mates have over 10 years of experience fishing Cabo’s waters and know these fisheries inside and out. From striped, blue, and black marlin to tuna, dorado, wahoo, roosterfish, and other local species, they understand the seasonal patterns, proven techniques, and local knowledge needed to consistently put our guests on fish.
Just as important as their fishing expertise is their commitment to customer service. Our bilingual crew is friendly, professional, and passionate about making every trip enjoyable, whether you’re a seasoned angler chasing a trophy catch or introducing your family to fishing for the first time.

A huge thank you to Sean, Michelle, and the entire crew at Cabo State of Mind Charters for making this a trip we'll never forget. From the moment we arrived, they were organized, professional, and prepared for everything. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We caught our very first dorados and even landed a marlin! What an adrenaline rush and an unforgettable day on the water. Our day on the Sea of Cortez was amazing! The Captain and crew of the Good Hooker were professional, helpful and knew exactly where to go for an exciting day of fishing! The boat was so clean and comfortable which made it such a great experience. We each caught a Dorado and got to eat the freshest meal imaginable; both ceviche and sushimi prepared right on the boat! 😋 The day ended with an amazing sunset by the arch!! I highly recommend Cabo State of Mind charters. We can’t wait to go back! 🎣 🛥️

My family and I went out on a half day trip and were a tad hesitant on bringing our 4 month old out. If you have reservations about bringing your young ones fishing, leave those reservations at the dock! The crew on the boat made us feel like we belonged on that boat and made sure everyone was comfortable. They were so helpful with assisting us on whatever we needed and whatever questions we had for them. The crew had great experience in preparing bait, finding a good location and making sure we had the best experience possible. A 5 star rating for the cleanliness of the boat, the hospitality that the crew gave and the easy booking process that was made available to us. Shoutout to the good hooker for the good vibes and fish we caught.
