    Best Trip so far!!!

    5 Hour Trip – Nearshore (AM) • 4 adults

    Our half-day fishing trip with Olivia J Charters was absolutely outstanding! We had a group of four men, and there was more than enough room on the boat for everyone to fish comfortably. Captain Rodney is the GOAT!! He knew exactly where to put us on the fish, and thanks to his experience, we limited out on Red Snapper! We caught so many 14-inch snapper that by the end of the trip, we could tell whether a fish was a keeper before it even made it into the boat!!! What impressed us the most was Captain Rodney’s professionalism and commitment to safety. He made sure everyone was comfortable, informed, and safe throughout the trip while still making sure we had an incredible time on the water. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable captain, a great fishing experience, and a charter that delivers results, Olivia J Charters is the way to go!! We highly recommend them and can’t wait till next year!!

    What a wonderful day!!

    5 Hour Trip – Private - 1:00 PM • 3 adults

    Rodney and Ethan were such a delight. They are so knowledgable and was so attentive. Ready to help when needed!! WE WILL BE BACK!! IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY. Rodney and Ethan, thank you so much. Anyone would love this trip! I would suggest at least 7 and that if they are mature and have patience. We caught our limit of fish and then Ethan cleaned them for us!! It was a great day. If you have never road in the ocean on a boat, use dremamine before you get on the boat. One guy is our group was so sea sick, it was no fun for him. He was literally green at the gills!!

    We had an awesome time on this fishing trip! Captain Rodney was super cool, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was having a great time from start to finish. We caught black tip & bonnethead head sharks, barracuda, red snapper & catfish. He also cleaned and filleted all of our catches for us, making it easy to take everything home and enjoy. I highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water.

    They showed us a great time and put us on some awesome fish. They worked tirelessly to make sure all the people in our party had a badass experience. Their work ethic was unmatched. On top of that they had fun personalities which made for a stellar trip. 5 out of 5. These guys rock.

What a summer!!

Federal snapper season on “Vertigo” was a good one once we got past tropical storms, and hurricane Byerl. The Bull Reds have shown up nearshore and we hope to start seeing some good State water red snapper this fall. Amberjack season is is from sept 1st - Oct 31st. Book a 10 or 12 hour trip to chanse some “Reef Donkeys”.

Bull Redfish and More!!

The Bull Redfish action has picked up, and we are seeing signs some of our migratory fish will be showing up. We have see our first jacks of the year. Though not good eating fish Jacks are some of the hardest fighting fish you will find. A few nice state water snapper have been caught lately as well. Snapper season is coming, season opens June 1st book our boat Vertigo for Federal Trips. Or Olivia J II for state water.

Redfish to Cobia

Fishing has been picking up nicely. Some of our migratory fish have started to show up. On our 8 hiur trips we have run out for some Great eating Vermillion snapper and have also managed a couple Cobia. If time allowd we have been finishing up the trips fishing Bull Redfish along the beach front. Red Snapper season Opens on the first of June!!

Big Snapper and Bull Reds

With the cool water temps the fishng had been a little slow. But we have been rewarded with some good quality state water snapper and Bull Redfish. With warmer temps ahead the fishing will only get better. We sill have a few openings for spring **hidden content** on out with is and put some bends in those rods.

The kingfish,Cobia and Sharks have been really good as of late. We are happy to announce we have upgraded to a 29 foot prokat. This will give us more fishing space and more comfortable ride. Stay tuned as we plan on offering longer trips to target blackfin, yellowfin, and Dolphin.

Kings, Cobia and sharks

This report is for trip completed in the last week. The fishing as of late has been on fire with a lot of Huge Sharks being caught as well as a number of monster Cobia. The largest and new boat record 104 lb Cobia caught early last week. The kingfish have showed up and they are hungry. We are hoping this trend continues.
