I’ve been fishing since I was 6 years old and spent my teenage years working on charter and party boats out of City Island and Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. That experience gave me a strong foundation targeting everything from inshore fluke to offshore tuna.
As a licensed Merchant Mariner, I now run private charters on my 2021 Sailfish 320CC out of Brick, NJ. Every trip is personally captained by me.
Whether we’re drifting for Fluke and Sea Bass or heading offshore for Tuna, my goal is the same - keep you safe, put you on fish, and make sure you have a great day on the water.

Half Day Trip – Inshore MORNING • 4 adultsWe just returned from a fishing charter with Captain Gonzo and Sean, and I can honestly say it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Our group included my husband, our 13-year-old daughter, her best friend, and me, and we were blown away by how they handled everything. From the moment we stepped on board, it felt like fishing with family. The boat was impeccable—clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained. The equipment was top-notch, and the crew made sure everything was ready to go so we could focus on the fun part. What really set this trip apart was the expertise and engagement from Captain Gonzo and Sean. They clearly know these waters inside and out. We watched Captain Gonzo constantly monitor the electronics and strategically reposition us to find the best spots, and his intuition was spot-on—we hauled in plenty of fish! While it was the first time fishing for some in our group, Captain Gonzo and Sean were so encouraging and professional that they made everyone feel like seasoned anglers. They kept the energy high, the laughs coming, and the rods bending the entire time. They truly tailored the day to our group’s dynamic, making sure everyone was having a blast. We had such an incredible time that my family is already planning a special trip back to the shore in October specifically to fish with them again. We are already looking at our calendar to book multiple charters with them next year. There aren’t enough stars to rate this experience. If you’re looking for a world-class charter that delivers on every level, look no further than Captain Gonzo and Sean!

Full Day Trip – InshoreI recently booked an inshore fluke fishing charter with Captain Gonzo, and it was an outstanding experience. I've been fluke fishing for over 25 years, and after hearing that Captain Gonzo specializes in fishing the inshore wrecks, I knew I had to book a trip. Some of my biggest fluke have always come from the artificial wrecks along the New Jersey coast, so I was excited to experience that style of fishing aboard his beautiful Sailfish center console. Powered by smooth, quiet Mercury Verado outboards, we were able to reach the best spots out of Manasquan Inlet in no time. I especially appreciated the extra effort Captain Gonzo put into making sure we had a successful day. Despite a strong south wind and a tough south current, he worked hard to keep us on productive drifts and put us on keeper fish. Using his boat's radar, sonar, and electronics, we stayed on fish throughout the day and enjoyed steady action. Thanks again, Captain Gonzo, for a great trip. I can't wait to get back out on the water with you!

Full Day Trip – OffshoreCaptain Chris is an excellent captain with extensive knowledge and experience in both inshore and offshore fishing. Report:
August 19, 2026 — Half-day morning trip on the fluke grounds
Kim and family came out for a morning inshore trip and we put in the work. Limit of sea bass, over 60 fluke, and a handful of keepers mixed in.
Once you pick through the shorts, you get rewarded with the larger fish. It takes patience and commitment — weeding through the small bites and waiting for those bigger ones.
Fluke fishing should continue to get better over the next couple of weeks. They can’t catch them from the couch.

Yellowfin Are Here — Mahi Still on Fire

August 18, 2026 — Offshore from Manasquan
The yellowfin have shown up. Not in big numbers yet, but they’re here. A few bluefin are still around, and the mahi-mahi bite has been red hot with some smaller tuna mixed in. This bite should only get better over the next few days and weeks.
Had David and his family from California on board for a full offshore day. Great crew, great attitude, and a great day on the water.
If you’ve been waiting to get out for tuna and mahi, now’s the time.

Nonstop Fluke Action with Fran & Family ☀️
Report:
Tuesday morning with Fran and the family was a blast.
We watched the sunrise and then the rods never stopped bending. Over 50 fluke came over the rail, mixed with some solid sea bass. Lots of laughs and nonstop action the whole trip.

Big Yellowfin to 70 lbs and Mahi

Yellowfin Are Here… and They’re BIG ?

August 9 – Lights out day with Scott and crew.
The yellowfin showed up in a big way. Fish up to 70 lbs were crushing topwater poppers and inhaling jigs all morning. Non-stop action.
When the crew finally got tired of tuna, we switched gears and put some solid mahi in the box.
Great start to the season… and it’s only going to get better from here.

Steady Action on Axel Reef – Over 60 Flu

Had a great half-day inshore trip this morning with a family of five. We worked the inshore Axel Reef under calm, overcast conditions and the fish were cooperative. The group put in the work and ended up with over 60 fluke for the day. Most were shorts, with just a handful of keepers, but the action was steady and everyone had a blast. Perfect day on the water.
