I started fishing as soon as I could hold a rod and reel. I began fishing at Kyp's Fish Camp on Lake Beresford in DeLand, FL. Then, I quickly started fishing off the beaches and piers in saltwater. Once I got a taste of the big bluewater fish as a kid, I was hooked. I love the water, it's very relaxing and easy to clear your head with the fresh scent of saltwater.

Full Day – Offshore • 4 adultsThe trip felt like fishing with a friend except with all the professional knowledge and skills specific to the ponce area. His fire and Marine rescue background added an extra layer of safety that’s really nice to have offshore. He was very friendly and worked hard on the boat to give us an experience and value for the price. I learned a lot even though I already had some offshore experience. He was very willing to share his knowledge. Can’t wait for the next trip!! Thanks again Capt Jon!!

3/4 Day - 6hr Offshore (8:30AM) • 2 adultsCaptain John was very knowledgeable about the local bite and where to catch fish. He had our lines in the water quickly and continuously. He put us on and kept us on fish for 6 hours. When in the Daytona Beach area, this is definitely the guy to book. Great experience

Goodies and hard fighting fish!

Nice for our trip today with some locals from Florida. Harvested Gatsby grouper Almaco jacks. It was like fishing in an aquarium. The water was so clear and the seas were very calm.
