2023 Esperanza Inlet Fishing Preview

The 2023 fishing season is fast approaching. We again have seen good ocean conditions for salmon this past year, and expect another good run of salmon in 2023. Forecasts for the Columbia, Fraser, Robertson creek, and Canuma Rivers are up for 2023 vs 2022. Salmon limits on the West Coast of Vancouver island are 4 per day per person (2 can be Chinook) with a possession limit of 8 ( 4 can be chinook). Halibut limits are likely to be 2 fish under 35lbs or one between 25 and 75 lbs. Book a trip to Port Eliza Lodge in 2023!
