Captain Marty enjoys sharing his love of fishing with others. He has been fishing since he was 'knee-high to a grasshopper' as he would say. He is originally from Sylacauga, Alabama where he was born and raised but would often come to the Gulf Coast to visit. He enjoyed coming down with friends and family to fish and often went on charter fishing trips himself. In 2019, he decided to make the move to live along these beautiful beaches and start his journey to becoming a captain of his own boat. He truly loves that he gets to spend his days on the water creating memorable moments for friends and families. He strives to make his trips fun for all ages.

4 Hour Trip - Inshore/Nearshore • 2 adultsMy wife and I had an outstanding inshore/nearshore fishing trip out of Fort Morgan Marina with Landon as our guide on the Addicted 2 Fishing charter. From the moment we got on the water, he worked hard to keep us on fish and made sure we had a great experience. We started at an oil rig where we caught around 10 Spanish mackerel along with a nice king mackerel. After that, Landon took us to another rig to target red snapper. We managed to catch several snapper, although they were a little undersized and had to be released. When the spadefish started stealing our bait before it could reach the snapper, Landon quickly adjusted the plan and moved us to a new spot. The flexibility and variety of fishing were some of the highlights of the trip. We switched over to speckled trout and ended up catching around 8–10 trout, plus another solid king mackerel. Landon was constantly paying attention to the conditions and fish activity, and if a spot wasn't producing, he didn't waste time and he got us moving to more productive water. We really appreciated being able to target multiple species throughout the trip rather than sitting in one place hoping for a bite. Landon was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a successful and enjoyable day on the water. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and productive fishing trip out of Fort Morgan Marina!

3 Hour Trip - Inshore/Nearshore • 2 adultsThank you Marty for being a great captain and conversationalist. We caught fish and my husband and I had a wonderful time. We saw Dolphins, too. The view and scenery were Amazing. Thank you, Marty and Addicted 2 Fishing. super easy to book. we booked on a windy day and they called to help us navigate another day and time. we were thankful because the waves had white caps everywhere.

2 Hour Trip – Intro to Fishing - 8:00 AM • 2 adultsCaptain Zack was filling in for captain Marty, and I had a blast!! Zack was laid back, friendly, and just a regular dude like me. But unlike me he’s an outstanding Captain and angler. We caught red snapper and Spanish mackerel. Unfortunately the snappers were too small to keep, but it didn’t take away from the thrill and excitement of catching different species of fish. I grilled those Spanish mackerel and my wife and I ate well that night! Would highly recommend Addicted to fishing charters.

4 Hour Trip - Inshore/Nearshore • 2 adultsstarted off slow but once we found the fish the bait stealing was on. We caught fish and we lost fish. Sheepshead bite fast and slow but its so light of a tap that you barely notice but your batot is gone. We had a blast. I definitely will be back to get out with Captain Zack. Great guy, not only did he put us on fish but also an amazing restaurant called Tin Top and also a seafood place called Billy’s so I could get some gator.
