Go check out Upper Lake Park.
Bring a bathing suit and take a swin, the beach was surprisingly very nice sand and the water quality was great. We hung out on the beach for several hours after our morning fishing. I wish we would have had brought towels and beach gear to stay longer.
I was also very happy with the parking being old school coin machines and not expensive digital pay.

Since it was our first experience, we booked from 12pm -5pm, but the crew explained us this is not the best hours for fishing, what it helped for out 9 fish was that there were some showers/ raining. Best hours for fishing is very early in the morning.

August is a great time to visit Sheboygan and fish Lake Michigan. My wife and I enjoyed playing golf and eating at the various restaurants. The harbor area is very nice.

Getting a guide who is active to chase fish is such a plus. Walleye and Perch were extremely timid about biting, and a proactive approach really helps (switching methods, spots, etc.)
