Sunday was another, productive early Spring day in the Yakima River Canyon. Nymphing was king with an intermittent March Brown hatch in the afternoon and some awesome surface eats on the tail end of the Skwala hatch. CFS was around 2.2k, but Wilson Creek was putting in some dirty water so the color was slightly off, for better or worse. The fish were sitting in every type of water, with the larger players still holed up in deep, structured spots.

Had a great day in the Canyon today! The robber dropped about 1500 cfs overnight and into the day that resulted in some of the best fishing all week! Fished from mid morning to early evening and had our first significant sightings of Salmonflies in the banks and beginning to flutter around. We had multiple takers on the dry and wet Salmonflies and its only going to get better over next couple of weeks!
