We had a real banger of a day! We caught numbers, and we caught BIG ones! The crappies were stacking up a little shallower today. We had a 90 minute window of non-stop action then they slowed down a bit but we still picked up a couple here and there. Now is a great time to get out and slay some crappies!

The major heat wave we're experiencing here in the Twin Cities has taken its toll on the fishing, but we're still catching. The fish have been relating heavily to the weeds during this hot weather. I'm anticipating the bite to improve when the extreme heat leaves next week.
