Bull Reds and 54" Blacktip Bite

Had a nice mid-August charter trip Saturday with a touch of early fall in the air. Using fresh and live mullet, we caught baitfish and small sharks, plus three big bull reds. We caught a 54" blactip that managed to swallow the circle hook. The Blacktip was properly cleaned and iced down for the clients. Please, if you ever harvest a shark, make sure it is gutted and bled out immediately. After about 5 minutes of bleeding out, put it in an icechest pack the shark's belly full of ice and cover it completely in ice. It makes a ton of difference in the quality when you eat it, as can be seen in their video. Shark tacos, anyone?
