Nearshore Spanish Mackerel & Sharks

As we start to transition into our normal summer pattern, the mahi and other pelagic fish start to move out. There are still some hanging around, but as the move out the grouper start to move in. Captain Brian took these guys out in search of mahi, wahoo and tuna. They did not have red hot action but they succeeded in catching one of every species! Once the trolling action slowed they slid inshore a few miles and caught some bottom fish to round out the box. They had a great day out on the ocean and hopefully we will see them back soon! We have been so busy lately and I have just been terrible about posting, however fishing has been great! Captain Keith had a great 4 hour nearshore trip with some young kids that wanted some action. They started out trolling for Spanish mackerel and ended up catching enough for dinner. After that they decided to see if they couldn't wrangle some sharks, and that they did!
