The Mckenzie is fishing great! Hatchery fish are in the river and eager to eat. Native trout are doing there thing, have been catcging of mix of fish on varying techniques feom nymphing to the dry. Chris had a great day! Fish on!

Great day on the water today, thank you guys! Started off with a bang and 11 year Bentley hooked and landed a steelhead on trout gear, awesome work! He woeked hard all day and found a number of trout on the fly as well. Dad caught some fish to!

Fishing has beem great this last month, thanks to all who joined me on the water! The Mckenzie is a beautiful place to spend the day. A mix of fun and exciting rapids and fishing in a multitude of different and cool places makes for an unforgettable day. Lets go!

Spring is here on the Mackenzie! The bugs are out and weve had some great days on the water. We have been nymphing to start, and every day, especially those cloudy ones, brings hope for that afternoon dry fly action. March Browns (my favorite hatch of the year) bring a chamce to find the big fish getting silly.
