When a meter+ pike shys away from your fly the third cast, you know you’re in for a tough day. Luckily we had a nice window of opportunity when the fish were active. Besides casting large flies, fishing the Screaming Devil with a baitcaster was also effective.

Our frequent flyer Frank was so eager to bresk his personal record, that i just couldn’t let him go home without making this dream come true. With 101 cm and an estimated weight of 20 lb, it was a dresm fish for sure!
