Redfish are still being found schooled up way back in the creeks. Recently, we’ve found some great trout bites which are welcome after a very slow year for trout in 2023. Lots of small sheepshead to be caught inshore and big sheepshead nearshore when the ocean is calm. Small shrimp have arrived in the backwaters and the fish seem to be keyed in on them. Inshore has been producing good action with redfish, sheepshead, and black drum. We are finding fish way back in creeks in deep holes and around structure. Big sheepshead are being caught in numbers on the nearshore reefs as they are spawing right now. Offshore anglers are still hunting big wahoo off our coast. Things are hearing up and we are excited for the arrival of bait and cobia!
