Fishing for Crappies on Lac Du Flambeau Flowage

We had a guided fishing trip with Fred Palermo, Off the Hook Fishing Adventures, we started out the morning a little slow in the first two spots, the Crappies weren’t cooperating, Fred took us to a third spot and the action really picked up. My grandson was the star of the day catching a lot of nice one, he had the prime spot in the bow of the boat. Overall we caught about 40 fish, we took home 20 really nice 11” or larger crappies, overall a wonderful day fishing.

    Had a great day fishing with Captain Fred. we caught more Crappie today thst i have in the last 18 years fcoming to Minocqua. will book again

    First Class Fishing Guide

    Fred took us ice fishing and had everything setup and ready for us. We caught lots of fish and he was very helpful throughout the adventure. I can’t wait to fish with him again!

    Fred was great-excellent communication before and during our trip. He was extremely patient and kind to my two inexperienced children (10 & 9). We caught plenty of Crappie and had an awesome Northwoods fishing experience thanks to Fred.

    Great guide with great equipment

    Very knowledgable on different fish and knows all the lakes! Highly recommend and will be using Fred again!
