Lifelongs friends get together couldnt have been any better. Seth our deckand was the greatest along with Capt Opy putting us on fish. We would never stay in one spot very long as moved around frequently to get us on the fish. Cap Mike did not hesitate finding us a larger boat with very comfortable. accommodations. Captain Mike and deckhand Wesley were terrific. Our family group of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 children had plenty of space to relax on the 53 foot fishing vessel "Capt Mike". She quickly took us to multiple spots about 15 miles offshore. We caught a red snapper, mahi mahi, and a rare black fin tuna. Wesley was an awesome deckhand who made sure every hook was baited up and assisted with any issues. The mahi mahi and black fin tuna were caught because of Wesley's knowledge and observation. We saw a group of mahi mahi swimming near the surface, and he immediate cast out some live cigar minnows on a hook. I pulled in a mahi mahi, and my brother-in-law battled hard to bring in the tuna. Overall, an awesome experience. We had fresh seafood for 3 days! Highly recommended for families who want a comfortable fishing experience with experienced local crew.
Been out with Capt Mike a few times now and have always caught quality fish no matter the conditions. highly recommend and will be using him anytine im close to him.
We had an absolute blast with Capt. Mike and Wesley! Hands down the best charter we've ever had. Capt. Mike put us on the fish and Wesley was a beast on the deck! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great trip out. We will definitely be booking again!
