Caught 10 species. 8 of them were new to me. 6 of the species were good table fare. Captain was good about helping me when I needed it on the long pulls. I have a rotator cuff that is not a hundred percent. I cooked up a sampler using some of each of the 6 types and all were delicious
We enjoyed a four hour charter with Captain Anthony on March 8, 2026. we caught nine fish with a single line near shore, and then moved out further and caught a huge mutton snapper with multiple lines in the water. Captain Anthony had the right boat for our party of six. He had the right equipment and took us to the right locations. He had several types of live bait. He iced our fish when they were caught, and then filleted and bagged them when we got back to the dock. I live in Seattle and have previously only ocean fished on the Pacific in Washington. My son lives in Boca Raton and has taken many charter fishing trips in Florida. He said this was his favorite so far. There are many versions of what sport fishing should be like, but Captain Anthony provided as what we were looking for.
Anthony is one of the best captains I’ve ever fished with! We didn’t have much luck at first, but he kept moving the boat and worked hard until he put us right on the fish. There were six of us—three adults and three kids—and everyone had an amazing time. Anthony is a great guy, very knowledgeable, and made the entire trip a blast. I highly recommend booking with him. We’ll definitely fish with him again!
unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, but captain was awesome and willing to stick it out in the rain to let the kids try to catch something before we had to go in due to safety concerns. Hopefully we will have a chance to head out with him again, when storms aren’t there totally appreciate his willingness to try, but also consideration for safety. 
10/10 experience, captain anthony brought us to a great spot right away where we caught a large red snapper. He was super knowledgeable on species in the area and filleted our catch for us when we got back into shore. Best catch I’ve ever made will definitely be taking another charter with Anthony when I’m back.
My son had a great day with Captain Anthony! His first deep sea outing and first thing he caught was a King Fish! He reeled it in himself! Captain Anthony was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot! He made the trip fun but also very relaxing. My son went on to reel in 2 red snapper and a white snapper. Anthony knew the area well and had caught the live bait that morning. We had the red snapper for dinner! Highly recommend! I had fun watching all of the action!
