  We had an amazing afternoon on the water with Captain John and First Mate Wyatt! We caught several red snapper along with a few other fish whose names I can’t remember. Captain John and Wyatt were incredibly accommodating, patient, and helpful, taking the time to guide us through the entire process. They worked hard to make sure we had plenty of action and a memorable experience. Their knowledge, professionalism, and friendly personalities made the trip even more enjoyable. We will definitely be booking another trip with them the next time we’re in Santa Rosa Beach. Highly recommend!

  First time family fishing adventure

  We scheduled last minute for a half day early morning family fishing trip. Capt John got us underway and discussed options. We decided to do a little trolling and caught some Mahi Mahi then moved on to do some bottom fishing. Once to Captain John’s location we caught Vermilion Snapper, a couple of Squirrel fish, and Trigger fish. One Trigger was very good size. We went back to trolling looking for something larger and lively. Wrapping up our adventure and heading in with a good number of keepers, Captain John saw some bait and activity. We trolled it a few passes but didn’t get the Wahoo we had hoped. Captain John took every opportunity to get us onto different and bigger fish. Heading back to dock we spotted dolphins. Being a family trip, Captain John afforded us a few minutes sightseeing to enjoy the dolphins. Back at the dock, Captain John and deckhand Wyatt cleaned our catch and even recommended a great restaurant, Jack-Acuda, to cook our fresh catch. It was phenomenal! Our one miss, or big regret, only booking a half day. Thanks to Captain John and Wyatt, we’ll see you again soon!

  Trolling for mahi mahi...and catching them was a great start to the trip! You guys fished like pros for first time anglers and I look forward to having your family again here in Santa Rosa Beach. Thank you for the review!! Capt Jon

  awesome fishing trip close to Santa Rosa Beach Florida

  We went out around 30 miles and had an awesome afternoon experience! Several red snapper, trigger fish , grouper and several others. The captain and crew was very helpful and knowledgeable and this trip would be great for anyone wanting to go out for a great time on the water.  I will definitely be booking my next trip very soon.  even though we caught many fish and had  an exciting evening next time I will leave my bananas at home! Thanks, fellas I greatly appreciate it

  Captain John did a wonderful job getting my son and husband out deep sea fishing in less than ideal conditions on our last day of vacation. While you can’t control the weather - the captain made safety a priority and still managed to put the guys on fish in very windy, chilly conditions. red grouper and red snapper were the catxhes of the day. My son learned a lot from Captain John and they had a wonderful experience.

  Lauren, thank you so much for the kind words! We’re glad we could still make it a great trip despite the windy week when you guys were visiting—safety is always our top priority. It’s awesome to hear your son had a chance to learn and enjoy the experience, and putting some red grouper and vermillion snapper in the box is always a bonus. He is quite the angler.   First Deep Sea trip with my Four Son’s

  Captain Jon put us on fish very quick! My son’s and I had a great time and will schedule another trip with him soon. Not only was Captain Jon awesome, his boat and equipment was TOP Notch! Thanks for an awesome trip! Toby
