Great Experience 🦈

Captain Yussef and the crew were thorough, walked us through everything they were doing, and answered every question we had—and then some. There was even an emergency on the beach during our trip, and the captain handled the situation professionally before getting us right back to fishing. We didn’t end up landing a shark, but it definitely wasn’t for a lack of effort. The captain and crew worked hard the entire trip to put us on fish. Even if you come up short, it’s absolutely worth the time and money for the experience alone. I’ll definitely be booking another trip, and I highly recommend giving them a try too.

    If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would

    My son and I recently booked a charter with Captain Yusuf and Cody, and although we didn’t end up catching any fish, this was still one of the best charter experiences I’ve ever had. We understand it is called fishing and not catching, and it was in no way due to a lack of effort on the part of the crew! What truly sets this charter apart is that effort. I have honestly never seen a captain and crew work as hard as Yusuf and Cody did to put us in the best possible position to succeed. Their work ethic, professionalism, and genuine desire for us to have a great experience were unmatched. Beyond the fishing, they were personable, knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire trip enjoyable for both me and my son. The memories we made together were worth every penny. Speaking of value, I genuinely believe they’re underpriced for the level of service and experience they provide. I would have paid significantly more for a charter with the dedication and customer service we received. Without hesitation, I will book with Captain Yusuf again the next time I’m in the area. If you’re considering a charter, stop looking and book this one. You won’t find a harder-working captain or crew anywhere. Highly, highly recommended

    If you’re looking for a bucket-list experience, Shark Crossing Charters is the one to book! Our shore shark fishing trip was the highlight of our vacation. We landed an incredible 7-foot, 200+ lb nurse shark, and the adrenaline of fighting a fish that size from the beach is something I’ll never forget. The crew goes above and beyond to put you on sharks. They use drone casting, plus a kayak and dinghy, to place the bait exactly where it needs to be, giving you the best chance to hook into a giant. Watching the whole process is just as impressive as the fight itself. The guides were knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire experience safe, exciting, and fun from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and the sharks they target. If you’re visiting the St. Pete area and want an unforgettable adventure, I can’t recommend Shark Crossing Charters enough. Catching a 7-foot, 200+ lb shark from the beach is a memory that will last a lifetime. We’ll definitely be back! 🦈🎣🌊

    Night fishing

    7 Hour Trip

    I had an absolutely incredible experience shark fishing from the beach with Yuseff of Shark Crossing Charters. From start to finish, his professionalism, knowledge, and passion for what he does were obvious. He took the time to explain everything, made sure we were set up for success, and shared a ton of valuable information throughout the trip. The highlight of the day was landing an absolutely massive lemon shark—an experience I’ll never forget. It was clear that Yuseff’s skill, patience, and years of experience played a huge role in making it happen. Beyond being an outstanding guide, Yuseff is genuinely one of the easiest people to get along with. He keeps the atmosphere fun and relaxed while staying focused on safety and giving you the best chance at an unforgettable catch. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced angler, you’ll feel comfortable and confident with him leading the way. If you’re looking for an unforgettable shark fishing adventure, I can’t recommend Yuseff and Shark Crossing Charters highly enough. I’ll definitely be booking another trip with him!

    great experience but no catch

    We enjoyed the evening on the beach. Beautiful sunset and double rainbow. Didn’t catch anything but not from lack of effort. Our guides tried different bait and different distances. Refreshed bait multiple times. We enjoyed conversation with them, our kids enjoyed playing while we waited. Sometime after midnight the kids grew too tired to wait and we called it. Would love to try again on our next summer vacation. Would recommend for families - fishing takes patience but the beach is entertaining - also, we tried chartering by boat last year and ended up with a couple sick kids. We have a disabled child too. This can be enjoyed by all and is more relaxing for the parents involved.
