We did a full day trip in August. Many species were closed for the season, but Captain Dave kept us on fish all day, went out if his wat to make sure we had fun and we still went home with a cooler full of fish. Thank yiu!

Dave was a great captain and made sure everyone on the boat had a great time. He’s an experienced captain and fisherman who knows how to put you on the fish! We caught Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Triggerfish, and Grouper. He even took the time to stop so we could watch some dolphins! We had five adults in our group, and everyone caught several fish. It was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Dave and H&H for anyone looking for a great fishing trip!

We had a great time. Dave was amazing! Took us to several spots that were all succesful. We caught triggerfish, red snapper, vermillion snapper, and spanish mackerel. Then we caught “bait fish” to fish for amberjack. We had three kids and three adults and everyone had a great time. Additionally, we heard many stories about the area, the buildings, and the artificial reefs. Dave has been doing this for 30+ years and it definitely shows. Will definitely call Dave again when we come back next spring break!

Dave is very knowledgeable and very personable! whatever your goals are for the trip/day he makes it his #1 priority that you get that experience! caught 38 fish that we were able to keep and take home. Dave and Derek will filet and package all fish as well which makes experience seamless! Will be using Dave and Derek again in future trips to Destin.
