Very good with children (kept them entertained and answered all the many questions they had) and very knowledgeable about the area. Gave options on what we wanted to experience. Would highly recommend for future anglers.
Captain Alana was Great! Very knowledgeable about the BAY and the whole region. Unbelievable stories about Tarpon fishing and saving sea turtles when it got into the 30’s for a week. Saw Dolphins and SeaTurtles on the trip. If you enjoy being on a boat with an illuminating and amusing Captain, this is your trip

Overall it was a really great trip. The captain was great, she really put us on a lot of fish including my wife’s personal best black drum! We caught fish basically all day and had a great time. Everything was great and we would highly recommend it, we know we sure will book again sometime soon. Also it was our captains birthday so again happy birthday and thank you for the great trip!
Alana was great today! We caught a lot of Skip Jacks(Slimers, Ditch Pickles) which were fun to catch. They fought like a cross between a bass or pike! We caught some really nice Speckled Trout in the slot that we were able to keep. She was very knowledgeable about the area and local conservation as well. On the way back we were able to see a hand full of dolphins on our way back! We would definitely fish with her again! Thanks from Minnesota!
Just make sure the read the fine print. It doesn’t state it in the initial booking, but this is essentially a sight seeing trip with a “little fishing”. After our trip was over I went back in and read the confirmation booking info, and it did state this in the fine print. Our captain showed us some amazing sights, tons of dolphins and birds, and even sea turtles. This was amazing, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. My teenager was disappointed that he wasn’t fishing the whole time, my younger daughter loved all the dolphins we saw. My son caught a few fish, no keepers. My daughter and I didn’t catch anything. I enjoyed the sight seeing, I just wouldn’t have gone with this particular charter if I had known it was mainly sight seeing, again on me for not reading the fine print. The captain was great, polite and knowledgeable on the area. Boat was clean and she went out of her way to return my sunglasses.
I’m sorry your son didn’t get to fish all day. It is definitely a different trip. Your boy did great doing what we did. I don’t take many people on trips where we chase bait balls along the beach only throwing artificial. He Is a good angler and I would have enjoyed fishing him harder.
