An excellent afternoon
Having never spearfished before I was a little apprehensive about a trip like this however Ruben was an excellent guide. The equipment was all provided and he was an excellent coach who had safety as a priority throughout which was very reassuring. He challenged me to push my boundaries in a way that was comfortable and encouraging with positive advice throughout. This isn’t fishing in a conventional sense, this is snorkelling with a speargun and the snorkelling itself was phenomenal. Within minutes we’d seen a turtle, sharks and a ray - something I never expected and will never forget! Sadly having swallowed a large amount of seawater I struggled with sickness but it was still a fantastic afternoon and a very much once in a lifetime opportunity.
