We did an 8hr trip and it was incredible! Dennis is the best in the business! If you want to have an amazing trip and catch a ton of fish I would recommend booking this trip! We caught a bunch of barracuda, and then found some amberjack to put in the boat. Then we switched things up and caught seveal red snapper along with a giant shark! Dennis was the best captain, he took great care of us, was easy and fun to talk to, and made the trip that much more memorable!
We started the day off slow not catching anything at the first spot. The capitan then took us to one of his many secret shipwreck spots. After about 15 minutes or so of not catching anything the capitan knew we needed to switch bait. He taught us how to catch the bait ourselves which was awesome. Then after hooking up the new kind of bait we caught 3 barracuda and 1 kingfish!!! They were the biggest fish I have ever caught and it was a great experience. Capitan Dennis was kind, respectful, and had many adventurous and funny stories. Once we got back to shore he filleted the fish for us so we could take it home to cook. Would highly recommend this charter!
Just fantastic. Trio for me and my 18 yr ood daughter. Spoke with Capt night before to discuss what i was wanting from the trip. we started on time. We were taken to a first spoke for insteuctional part of the fishing trip… how to hook them. Which in NO TIME we caugjt 2: 4-6 pound snappers. tlThe it was off to another location. we caught snapper, sea bass and trigger fish . my daughter hooked 2 fish that were strong enough to break 80 lb leader line. we caught sooooo many it was exhausting. HREAT FIGHTING FISH. I ended uo with a 25 pounder. iverall we hualed up about 14 fish, about 5 got away on the eay up and two that broke my daughters line.
Took my wife on this charter for her birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We started the day trolling and landed two impressive kingfish. After that, we headed farther offshore and spent the rest of the trip catching several large red snapper. Captain Dennis has been fishing these waters for decades, and his experience was evident throughout the day. He seemed to know every boat on the water and made us feel completely at home aboard his vessel. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly personality made for an excellent trip. We had a great time and are already looking forward to booking another charter with him.
We had a great day with Captain Dennis! He taught us how to bottom fish, so we were very active the entire trip and enjoyed learning. We started the day trying to catch fish that we could keep, and caught a couple of sea bass. We also caught a spiny rockfish. After a couple of locations that we weren’t catching much, we moved to an area where we caught a lot of snapper. Every time we put bait in the water, we’d get a catch. We weren’t able to keep any, but it made for a really fun day! We appreciated that Captain Dennis was flexible and prioritized us having a good day with a lot of fish! He was great in teaching us the ropes, and always made sure we had bait on the line. We would go with Captain Dennis again!
