  Lots of fun

  We had a great time fishing, or rather attempting to fish 😆 We certainly caught lots of live bait and a few smaller species, but unfortunately the bigger fish just refused to bite. However, this was not for lack of trying. Captain Roderick sped us to multiple locations in the hope the fish would be more cooperative, but it just wasn't our day. On the plus side, we had a fun time on the boat going very fast, getting salt sprayed by the waves and just enjoying a lovely day at sea. Even if you have a bad day fishing, you will have a great day seeing St Paul's Bay from the sea.

  Great day out on the water!

  We had a great time out with our guide Nick. We headed out from Bugibba Jetty and headed across the sea bream fish farms to catch some bait for the our day. Unfortunately the bait was our only catch for the day, but we had a beautiful day along the Comino and Gozo coast trying to find so Amberjack that were willing to bite. If you select this trip make sure that you bring along some snacks, water, beer and sunscreen. If you want to keep your drinks cold also bring along a small cooler. The boat boards at the small slip along the left side of the harbor. Head down the short ramp towards the tour boat jetty and take a left along the water to find the boat.

  We had a very enjoyable trip and cusght some cool fish. Fishing was tough but Roderick was constantly adjusting methods, bait, and most importnalty locations. he couldnt have done more :) 100% reccomend to anyone thinking about it i have fished all over the world and with many charters, this is ideal for a relaxed holiday trip / good to bring beginners along to try.

  First time sea fishing

  Myself and son booked the day before to go out for a 3 hour trip. Boat was easy to find in St pauls and the captain had great boat control and knowledge of the fishing areas. We went bait fishing for roughly 2 hours and caught all sorts of colourfull fish including an octopus which was quite rare apparently!? We then went trawling for the last hour or so and managed to get 2 Amberjacks which was a real buzz. All in all we were very happy with the whole experience start to finish and would recommend it to any anglers new or seasoned.

  Friendly and knowledgeable captain

  Fished with Captain Roderick, he took myself and my two sons ages 12 and 14. We started catching straight away, very patient and helped the boys catch, unhook and return the fish. We fished with different methods and the Captain also took us closer to shore when one of the boys was feeling sea sick, also showed us the caves and also dropped us off back at the bay where we were staying. We all loved the trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, he also took us some lovely pictures of us fishing and of us infront of the cliffs. Thanks Captain Roderick!
