Lake Travis Fishing Guide 

Took my two young grandsons out fishing with Travis. We had an absolute blast!! He was great with the boys and taught them what was needed to catch fish.

I booked a half day trip from my husband for his birthday and he was beyond impressed. My husband has some experience fishing and myself very little. Tyler was a very patient and knowledgeable guide, he had a very professional set up, very organized, taught my husband new techniques and information about the area. Tyler showed up on time and made sure we took full advantage of our time on the water. His boat was very nice, clean and comfortable. We will definitely book again and refer our friends and family. Thank you for allowing us such a great experience, we had a ton of fun and caught quite a few fish!

Had a blast today on the water. Captain Tyler Torwick is the best of the best. He got us to all the best spots and my girlfriend and I were able to catch loads of fish and had a great time doing it. This is our second time fishing with Torwick’s services and we won’t hesitate to book another!

We booked a four hour trip with Captain Tyler on 11/4/19. I can say Captain Tyler was very prompt and professional the entire trip. We have nothing but great things to say about him. He made our trip very enjoyable. We talked the entire trip about anything and everything, which made the trip extra special. Very knowledgeable of the fish that inhabit Lake Travis. He is also very knowledgeable of the surroundings of the lake as well. Captain Tyler put us onto the fish which made for a great fishing trip. We highly recommend Captain Tyler to anyone. My friend and I wanted to change it up for our girl's weekend and decided to try fishing! We both have gone fishing with our families in the past, but by no means are we experts, so hiring a fishing guide sounded perfect. Tyler was at the boat ramp early with the boat ready to go waiting for us at the dock. He even carried our cooler for us to the boat! (He already had bottled water in his cooler for us though!) Tyler recommended an evening trip on a lake called Lake Decker. Excellent recommendation! We both caught a bunch of fish and had a blast. I really didn't expect to catch a ton since neither of us were very experienced with fishing. But our captain had super nice fishing gear and set us up with lures that were easy to use. He taught us how to cast, retrieve the bait, and set the hook when we felt a bite. If you are a beginner he is the captain to book! We looked at the reviews for the other captains on here, but Tyler had the best and I can see why! We had an awesome time and will be back for sure.

Awesome half day of fishing!! From start to finish it was a quality experience. His willingness to assist my grandson, his knowledge of the top spots, the high quality of boat and gear was second to none. We’ll definitely be back.

I booked a full day bass fishing trip. Tyler had me on the bass from the start early on a topwater then as the morning progressed we had our most of our action on a dropshot. Tyler is Very knowledgeable and willing to answer all the questions I had. I was very impressed with the amount of time he took to help me understand the basics of Sonar interpretation. I highly recommend his services

What knowledge and PATIENCE. Tyler was very personable and so on point with assisting us with any of our needs- never miss a step and kept us fishing for 8 hours straight. My arm was sore the next day...lol. Thanks for a great day out for my husbands birthday and teaching us new places, new techniques and helping us catch BIG fish 🎣 ps. My two Grandsons and I very much enjoyed our time on the lake with Tyler. He is extremely patient, courteous and his explanation of bass fishing techniques and where the fish would be during the pre-spawn cycle was very educational. Would highly recommend Tyler to anyone.
