Line Check Charters – 35' Offshore 

Captain Mike out of Galveston was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and incredibly hospitable throughout the entire trip. His experience showed as he consistently put us on fish and kept the action going. The boat was fast, comfortable, and well laid out, making for a great day on the water. let me tell you, this charter is awesome! We do at least one snapper trip during the season and it was our first with Line Check. It wasnt the usual snapper trip the big ones were being shy and elusive, but captain mike made sure we got fish in the boat! We went to multiple sites to make it happen. Deck hand Peyton rocked it! We had a reluctant 14 year old girl on the boat and Peyton was awesome with her! 100% will book again!

Captain Mike and Peyton were great. Our youngest caught the new Junior State Record for a yellowmouth grouper. Worked hard and put us pn a bunch of fish. Ready to go back.

Two adults and four children 10 - 16, and the crew made sure everyone had a great trip. Unexpected catch of the day - shark! Would definitely book again!

We had a great offshore trip, looking for Red Snapper. Captain Mike knows the best places and we crushed monsters reds. Mike and Sam were great and had everything we needed.

This was our first deep sea trip. We had booked a shark trip in addition to this one. Due to weather we had to cancel the shark trip, but captain Mike got us out longer the following day to insure we had a crack at sharks as well. He put us on big fish straight out of the gate. He and his mate worked hard to keep us catching all day. He got us on a red snapper that is currently #1 on the big cash snapper fishing tournament. Here’s hoping it can hold for 5 more days! All in all couldn’t ask for a better charter to go with and we plan to run it back next year!

There’s fishing boat captains and then there’s Big Mike and his first mate Peyton. The difference is while most fishing boat captains want to get you into the fish, Big Mike puts you on the fish and keeps you there until your arms fall off. Peyton works his butt off tossing fish in the box and rebaiting your hooks all while ensuring you as the customer are having the greatest time catching monsters. I’ve spent countless hours, days and weeks fishing all over this planet and I can say that fishing with these two was easily the best experience I’ve ever had on a boat. Big Mike took the time before the trip to talk with me and find out not only my objective for the trip but what I’ve always wanted to catch. 22 years of chasing bill fish and Mike put me on not just one but three within seconds of dropping the first lines of the day. He made not only my day but my decade. You just can’t beat this Captain and crew. Truly among the best.

Five of us ladies went out on a mission to catch some sharks, and Captain Mike delivered exactly that! We caught five different species of sharks and had an amazing time. This is not my first time on a fishing charter, but I can guarantee we will only use Captain Mike going forward. You made us laugh the entire trip, and we could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much for an unforgettable weekend!

Line Check Charters was GREAT! Captain Mike called us the night before to discuss the fishing report and make some recommendations based on what we were looking to catch. He was spot on with his recommendations…the next morning we met our boat captain Eric and he immediately put us on the fish and kept us on until it was time to head in. Captain Eric was great with my 10 year old son and made it a trip we’ll both remember! We’ll be back next year to fish with Line Check Charters again!

It was a good day, they helped my two grandsons catch fish and was constantly aware of them. I will use him every time we come to Galveston.
