Captain Jake is the man! Exceptional captain and boat. He took us out as a family on a beautiful day and we had a blast and caught plenty of bluefish, Spanish mackerel and 1 banded rudderfish. Anyways Captain Jake’s boat is really nice and he’s a great guide and captain for any level. Recommend 100%
Jake did his best to find us some fish! We only caught a few, but it was still a great day on the water. Jake is very personable and made sure everyone could cast and fish. We cast, trolled and tried to catch sharks. Highly recommend.
We've been going out with Jake for several years now and have always had great trips. He's courteous and professional but also personable and very helpful with our special needs daughter in helping her catch fish.
Mr. Jake Dempsey was great, very personable which is so helpful and goes a long way in his business, my wife was a little nervous and Jake was very helpful explaining to her how to fight and land the bluefish we were catching, as you know are a great fighting. To tell you a little more or his character he noticed a boat stuck on sandbar, stop to successfully help. Jake was very knowledgeable of the area we fished, fishing was fantastic for my 14 year old son's first charter fishing trip, we could have caught blue fish all day, but Jake first tried to sight fish for shark and that was exciting just seeing them swimming around, back to more bluefish and what an incredible way to end the day by doubling up one Sandbar and once my son Cooper got it to th boat the second pole began to go and the fight was on with a very nice size Blacktip shark...it was a great fight and an amazing experience for my wife Debbie, myself but one I know and hope for a very long time if not his lifetime and amazing time and memory for my son Cooper...truly thankful to Mr. Jake Dempsey for this opportunity and just an over great fishing experience.
I can’t say enough good things about captain Jake. He was patient with all of us who are learning about fishing he was absolutely wonderful with our kids and helped them catch many many fish we will definitely be using him again when we are out visiting. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional A++++++ we had the best day and memories were made.

Jake had us on blues immediately. After the we chose to chase cobia’s. We trolled mackerel’s while looking. Jake found us some and we brought in a 55” 63 lb and a 47” 45 lb fish. Ended the day with 143 lbs of fish. Jake was fantastic, the equipment and boat were in immaculate condition. Can’t wait to do it again.

Jake was great. Caught a lot of red fish including 51 incher. Great day and one of rhe best guides I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with.

Jake is an amazing Captain! Even though my last name is Dempsey, we are not related. I found him here on Fishing Booker and based on his other ratings (and his last name), I just had to try him. I was putting together a fishing event for my company and entrusted my team into his care, scheduling several charters with him over the course of a week. Keep in mind that our event was during the month of August, one of the slowest seasons of the year for fishing. Needless to say, Jake delivered in stellar fashion. My team was amazed. For many of them, not only did they catch a ton of fish, they caught the biggest fish of their lives. We will definitely be booking with Jake again, and while I definitely suggest that anyone reading this should too... DONT TAKE MY WEEK!
Jake worked really hard to put us on fish. That was my second trip with Jake and can’t say enough good things about him. He works hard and it is obvious that he is passionate about inshore fishing. We got on a pretty good bite early of speckled trout but it slowed quick. Tried a little drum fishing. We moved a few times trying to find them without much luck. Jake never gave up. Towards the end of the trip he tried one last spot for some trout. And we closed with 3 last minute trout. Can’t wait to go back with him next year. Slow day of fishing overall but we still caught more than the other boats at the marina thanks to Jake.
Did a full day trip with Captain Jake and my 2 kids ages 10 and 8. Jake put us right on the fish getting our limit of red drum right off the bat. Followed that with a limit if grey trout, several speckled and a few bluefish. The weather was too rough to go out into the ocean but we had a great time fishing in the bay. The Captain also took as to the clamming beds where we collected a bucket of clams for dinner. We caught enough fish for 2 dinners while at the beach and another 4 dinners back at home. Even in the tough conditions Jake put us on fish.
