CL Guide Service och kapten Gabe bjuder in dig till North Padre Island för att utforska några av de bästa kustnära fiskeplatserna i området och uppleva den unika charmen hos South Texas. Oavsett om du är ute efter god matfisk eller bara vill fånga stora Redfish på fluga, behöver du inte leta längre! Kaptenen lever och andas South Texas och tar dig runt till alla de bästa platserna han har upptäckt under sina otaliga äventyr.
Din båt för turen är en 20-fots Everglades bay boat, driven av en 150 hk Yamaha utombordsmotor. Båten renoverades 2017 och är utrustad med elektroniska navigationssystem och kommunikationsutrustning ombord, samt en ekolod för att hjälpa dig hitta stim av fisk. Farkosten är också utrustad med all nödvändig säkerhetsutrustning samt en isbox och levande betesbehållare.
Kaptenen förser dig med all nödvändig fiskeutrustning för turen, inklusive Penn spinningrullar och Shimano baitcasters. För flugfisketurer kan du antingen ta med din egen utrustning eller låta honom ta med den åt dig. Allt levande bete du kan behöva för turen tas också om hand av kaptenen inför resan. Du kommer att få prova på olika tekniker, inklusive drivfiske, jiggfiske och att använda ett popperkork för Bäckröding och Redfish.
Det du bör ta med dig är en liten eller mellanstor kylväska med dina val av drycker och snacks, solglasögon, solskydd och en hatt. När du har bockat av dessa saker är du redo att komma och påbörja ditt nästa äventyr!

What we didn't know was that we would have one of the most memorable experiences of our lives with an INCREDIBLE guide. Captain Gabe not only put up with our "rookie mistakes" but was one of the nicest, most genuine, thoughtful people we've ever met. We had a blast, caught way more fish than we thought we would and made a new friend. Captain Gabe is the bomb and his stories and jokes will keep you entertained for hours. Amazing. 5 Stars. 10/10. Not only is Captain Gabe knowledgeable about the hot spots but you also get a little history lesson about Corpus Christi. Great father and son trip overall. Looking to book again.

But most of all his warm friendliness, heart-warming stories, hard work and professionalism made this trip a most memorable family experience.

Fishing with Captain Gabe
Heldagstur den July 19, 2020 • 4 vuxnaCaptain Gabe was very kind, patient and accommodating. He chartered our group of 4. Two couples. I personally have not fished in about 12 years. He was very patient in teaching me to use a rod and reel, coached me through it all. I caught the first keeper of the day and the largest. We had a great full day fishing and caught lots of fish mostly trout. He worked really hard to get us to the best fishing spots. We had fun, caught lots of fish and made some great memories. I can't wait to do it again. I highly recommend using Captain Gabe with CL Fishing Private Charters. I promise you will be happy you did.

Unfortunately most were too large to keep, but that's a great problem to have. Excellent with all family ages and experience levels. Great Trip! Will definitely call again!

Half day trip with Captain Gabriel and twins.

He was patient and gave twins great fishing advice. Once the Captain found his "spot" , he homed in like an eagle towards its prey. We caught 7 reds (27 3/4 largest) and could have caught more but decided to call it a day. It was an excellent trip. Twins will remember this day all their lives. Real fish stories!

Rain the night and early morning churned up the bay so not ideal this trip. That said. Captain Gabe was awesome! We tried multiple spots of both drifting and with anchor to change our luck. Will definitely go again with him during snapper season!

Gabe provided a fun filled day of fishing. Even though we didn’t catch more than one keeper we still caught fish, saw dolphins and got to see a lot of the Laguna Madre. Due to his unwillingness to end our day without at least one keeper he provided extra time. He is very good with first time ocean anglers and really good with children. We will see Gabe again in the future either with adult friends or other children and grandchildren.

I have fished most every type of water from the East Coast to the West Coast, Alaska and the Rocky Mountain lakes and rivers of Colorado and Wyoming and found Captain Gabriel Escobar an invaluable resource when fishing the Texas coast. He made fishing for everyone in our group from the first timer on the ocean to the most experienced a truly memorable experience. We caught several species including spotted trout and lady fish. Captain Escobar took the time to contact us several days prior to our trip to advise us of incoming weather and suggested we change our schedule, which ended up saving our trip from an incoming storm. cf
