Captain Joe & First Mate Matt were AMAZING. My father uses a wheelchair and both gentleman were excellent with assisting him on/off the boat. They both went out of their way to ensure my dad was comfortable & his needs were met. The fishing was non-stop the entire trip. My 17 year old son landed a Goliath Grouper with excellent coaching tips from Capt. Joe & Matt. The Reel Funds was the only boat in Naples that could/would accommodate my father. A day we will all remember forever. Great boat, amazing Captain and incredible Mate. Will definitely go out fishing with them again. I would highly recommend Captain Joe & Matt for all who are able bodied AND those who require physical accommodations!!!

Captain Joe communicated with us prior to the trip and made it very easy to meet him getting us off to a good start. The day only got better throughout the six hour day on the water. Caught a lot of fish!! Had a lot of fun!! Thanks Capt. Joe and Gavin for all your work making sure we had everything we needed to continue to catch fish. You guys were awesome.

My family was traveling to Naples to get together and at the last moment decided to try fishing. We booked a trip with Joe at Reel Funds Fishing Charters and the experience was exceptional. Joe accepted quickly and kept us up to date and in the know of what was going on. We told him we were "newbies" and he really took care of us. Joe and Matt met us right on time and we got out and to our first fishing spot. We dropped our lines and instantly "fish on" and we were pulling fish up left and right. Joe and Matt were awesome helping us get the fish off and getting bait on and getting back to fishing. When we hooked some big ones, they talked us through everything to help us land the fish. My family LOVED it and we came home with some excellent fish that we cooked up the next day with family and friends. The experience was much better than I would have ever imagined and I really appreciate Joe and Matt taking the time and patience to allow us to catch the fish while they showed us how to land hook them and land them. We caught many fish including Snapper, Grouper, Shark, Barracuda and even a massive Giant Grouper that Joe helped my daughter land. Absolutely a Blast and we look forward to doing it again. We HIGHLY recommend Joe and Reel Funds Fishing Charters. Simply put great fishermen but even better people!!

It was a calm, hot day. When the water is so calm there is no breeze to keep things cool. Got there and captain Joe and mate Howard were ready to go. Boarded and off we went. The two motors did their job, and within a bit we were anchor down fishing. With the first drop of or lines, FISH ON! And that is pretty much how the day went. Drop or line, FISH ON. And repeat. When the bites slowed captain Joe moved us to a new spot, and we never had a place where we did not catch. Some species were out of season so we couldn't keep, but that was ok too. We ended up with more than plenty to take home and enjoy, and to share. Hate Ian hit the following week, and can only hope the best for captain Joe and mate Howard. Look no further! Joe is the best captain on any fishing guide service. His boat is in impeccable conditions. He knows what he’s doing and he will put you on some fish. Joe takes his operation seriously and it was greatly appreciated by us!!

My 12 year old son caught a 50 pound amber jack, we caught a 40 pound permit fish, several Goliath groupers and even a barracuda! Never in my life have we ever coast such fish. The crew was great and so helpful every step of the way. 5 stars!!

Captain Joe and Matt were outstanding! We’ve fished in Naples before, but never have had an experience quite like this. These guys knew exactly what to do to get fish in the boat, and there wasn’t a moment that our lines were in the water without getting bites. The day ended with two Goliath Groupers which were the icing on the cake. A fishing trip for a lifetime for our group from Minnesota!

Our party had a great fishing experience with Joe and Matt. All together we caught more than 200 fish. 2 nice groupers, returned to the sea. Joe and Matt possess a wealth of knowledge and shared it with us. The boat condition was immaculate. Very safe, clean and sound. We came out of the expeience smarter ocean fisherman. The guys were awesome and we caught fish at a pretty considerable rate. Very professional and gave great instructions and helped keep everyone’s lines in the water. They cleaned the fish for us and we took them to a local restaurant and our catch was so delicious! Would definitely recommend
