We knew going into the trip the water would be rough. 5-8 foot waves, but the captain navigated wonderfully and kept everyone in the boat. We were able to catch 20+ Vermillion snapper, multiple Bonita, Triggerfish, and Mackeral as well. The first mate was great! Had a friendly personality and made the trip very enjoyable. We did have to cut the trip short due to a few people getting seasick, but the crew was able to get us on some fish quickly. Caught around 40-50 total fish. Would recommend this charter to anyone!

The duo of Kyle and Travis got us on fish at every spot. We caught multiple varieties of fish despite this being the farthest they had been in some time due to weather. I absolutely enjoyed being out as far as we were, and seeing natural surroundings. We saw dolphins, caught lots of fish, snd had a great time. Lots of good eating in our future! Appreciate our First Mate for his patience and guidance and our Captain for some “smooth sailing”. Very enjoyable trip and we will be back!

I have been on multiple fishing charters, and i must say this was the best trip so far. Captain kyle was very knowledgeable and got is on the fish right away, and travis was the hardest working deckhand I have ever seen. we are already looking at the dates to book again next year. so if you are looking for a charter to take your family and friends look no further than ghe Jamie G you wont be disappointed.

Jamie G had to cancel our trip with him so he rescheduled us with Getaway. Josh and Corey made our trip so fun and entertaining. Josh worked hard to ensure we caught fish and Corey was there every way he needed to be. We caughts lots of Red snapper, trigger fish, and grouper. I would highly recommend Getaway charters and Capt. Josh and his deckhand Corey!

Great crew that worked with us! Travis was an experieced deck hand that was very helpful with tips and advise on how to catch fish along with general knowledge of the area. Our captain Tyler did an excellent job with putting us on fish and deciding when and where to fish at. 100% recommend ayone to go fishing with them!!!

we had 6 people with us and everyone caught fish. Travis the deck hand wws absolutely great! on the way out we caught 2 trolling but when we stopped the captain Jamie put us on them and it didnt stop till we came back in! the only thing i wish we would of done is went 8 hours instead of 5.

Had a great trip! seas were rough (5+ ft swells) but captain and first mate made sure we felt comfortable with it before they took us out. We trolled on the way out and were immediately on fish! Between my wife and I we caught over 50 fish! The rough water was exhausting but it was definitely worth it!

The fishing trip was amazing! I highly recommend them. The boat was very clean, and the crew was extremely helpful and attentive. We caught some great fish, including red snapper and amberjack. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go fishing with them again!

Deck hand was great! Captain didn't say too much but done great job driving boat and handling it well in the swells or waves from other boats. I have been on some that run boat wide open beating you to death and Gary did not do this he was great!

We limited out on Snapper. First mate Travis was awesome making sure we all stayed baited up and had everything we needed. Captain Kyle kept us on the fish all day. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
