Coastal Catch Charters

Make some memories in Barataria and go fishing with Coastal Catch Charters. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Evan can tell you all about the local fishery.

These waters are known for Black Drum, Catfish, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself!

You can expect to do some spinning, popping, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Coastal Catch Charters are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels!

Your day begins aboard a 24' Blazer Center console with room for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials.

Capt. Evan will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, as long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

And that's it! Your fishing trip with Coastal Catch Charters is just a click away.
