Make the most of your time in Corpus Christi and go fishing with Hook & Fly Charters. Captain Larry will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of professional experience.
Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season. On these trips, it's common to drift using light tackle. Capt. Larry also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 20' Big O Elite flats boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and polarized sunglasses. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I recently went on a fishing trip with Captain Larry, He was absolutely awesome and demonstrated a wealth of experience throughout the day. Captain Larry truly knows the lay of the land, which made all the difference in finding the best fishing spots. His expertise and friendly demeanor created a fantastic experience.
Larry was one of the best guides I’ve fished with in a long time. Great boat and tackle, he knows the waters and how to find the fish. I’d recommend him to anyone from a serious accomplished angler to a beginner or family trip. He is patient, fun to be with but works as hard as he can to make your outing a success!
