Beroende på årstiden kan du få napp på Redfish, Black Drum, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Tripletail, Flundra, Red Snapper, Prickig havsöring och vad som än hugger. Du siktar på ditt byte genom spinning, popperfiske, jiggfiske, bottenfiske eller kanske något mer specialiserat i det här området.
Du kastar från en 23-fots Triton-kustnärabåt som rymmer upp till 4 passagerare. Den har alla nödvändigheter som ingen fiskebåt kan vara utan. Spön, rullar och beten ingår, liksom jiggare och övriga konstbeten.
Du behöver köpa ett lokalt fisketillstånd innan turen. Den här informationen finns vanligtvis tillgänglig online, eller så kan du fråga kaptenen.
Det rekommenderas att ta med solskydd (ej spray), en hatt, flaskvatten och solglasögon. Om du vill ta med andra drycker är det bara att fråga. Alkohol är tillåtet i måttliga mängder – undvik bara starksprit samt glasflaskor.

Red Snapper/Kustnära Kombo den May 29, 2026Captain Michael was great. He put us on the fish first thing both mornings we fished with him. We caught two limits of snapper and rounded out both days by catching some slot redfish also. Mike was very professional and I would highly recommend him. We will be fishing with him again next year.

Kustnära den October 12, 2025Wanted to take my family on their first Louisiana marsh trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than a trip to Venice with Southern Addiction Outfitters. Michael had a well maintained boat, great boat handling skills and quality fishing gear. I wanted to chase a quantity of fish so the kids could stay busy. 2-3 hook up at a time staying in schools of 15”-17” rat reds while picking up some slots sure made for a fun day. Threw back 3 times as many fish as we kept. Still ended up with a limit of reds, some trout, flounder, black drum, and bass. Plus one heck of a fight on a 42” bull red. Looking forward to the next go around.

Kustnära den September 1, 2025We had an incredible redfishing trip, the action was nonstop from start to finish. Captain Mike put us right on the fish, and we caught our limits early. The rest of the day was spent catching and releasing some beautiful bull reds that gave us an unforgettable fight. To top it all off, we landed two nice triple tail, which was the cherry on top of a perfect trip.

His knowledge of the area and passion for fishing really showed, he knew exactly where to go, and it wasn’t long before we were hooked up with some beautiful redfish.
