Kapten Jay har över 30 års erfarenhet av fiske och guidning på Lake Ontario och kommer att ge alla ombord en fantastisk upplevelse. Laxfiske på Lake Ontario utanför Oakville, Kanada är bäst från juni till augusti; Steelhead-fiske är bra från april till oktober, och öring och kanadaröding är bäst i maj, och sedan igen i september och oktober.
Fisket sker ombord på kapten Jays 27-fots Cruiser Inc Offshore sportfiskebåt, ursprungligen byggd 1989 och restaurerad 2016. Driven av en 350 hk Mercruiser inombordare, med en maximal krysshastighet på 30 knop, är detta fartyg mycket snabbt. Den ombordmonterade Lowrance HDS GPS och en dubbel Lowrance/Simrad ekolod hjälper dig att hitta de bästa fiskeplatserna. Fartyget är utrustat med alla säkerhetsfunktioner du kan behöva, ett levande bete-kar, en koj och en toalett.

Capt. Jay kept us informed about weather conditions during the process of booking and finally our BIG day was here! His experience, knowledge, accommodating and friendly attitude made us feel comfortable. The boat was clean and high equipped with top-of-the-line gear. We had a few releases, however, nothing concrete until my daughter had the thrill to fight her biggest King! A 22Lb full force beautiful salmon caught & released. If you want a guide who is dedicated to getting you on the fish and ensuring a successful day, Capt. Jay is certainly the real deal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an amazing adventure! We're looking forward to book him again. Thank you Capt.Jay and First mate Jimmy!

Captain Jay driving and B guiding the back of boat action are a great team and made for a fun, informative, and relaxed experience. You can tell these guys love what they do. They made the experience comfortable and enjoyable for our family (husband, wife and two older teens). The most difficult aspect was finding parking - something to keep in mind if you’re booked on a weekend afternoon. But aside from that, the whole experience was fantastic. We ended up catching four fish which B cleaned and filleted for us near the end of the trip. We would definitely recommend Taymo Charters to others.

the crew and set up was amazing and knew what they were doing. unfortunately it was a slow day, not many bites and the weather conditions were not in our favor. we did catch a few small ones, overall it was a great learning experience and Captain Jay was very easy to communicate with when preping up for the charter. definitely want to try and run it back!
